The Lulworth Heritage Centre is located alongside the pay and display car park and the footpath leading up to Durdle Door. Ask at the information desk about the walks arranged by the Lulworth Rangers, specialising in topics such as Butterflies and Wild Flowers. The Heritage Centre has an excellent display showing how brandy used to be smuggled across the channel and brought ashore in small boats. Its shop sells a range of gifts, postcards and books on the local area.
