Lych Gate, Holy Trinity Church, West Lulworth, Dorset

The north windows in the nave of Holy Trinity Church are in memory of Christopher Schuster who died aged 19 just 3 months from the end of the First World War. His father, the barrister and mountaineer Sir Claude Schuster, built Gatton House in 1901 and was secretary to the Lord Chancellor.

Sir Claude Schuster's uncle, the Reverend Schuster became the vicar of Holy Trinity Church in 1887. For further information see:-

Site of West Lulworth Parish Church, demolished 1869

The medieval Parish Church at West Lulworth was located on Main Road opposite the Old Bakery. It was demolished in 1869.

St Mary's Chapel, consecrated in 1787, was the first Roman Catholic Church to be built in England after the Reformation of 1529.

St Andrews Church in East Lulworth dates from around around 1312 and pre-dates Lulworth Castle.
