4 Star Boat Trips Clay Shooting Cycling Golf Horse Riding Walks |
Lulworth Cove is ideal for holidays and weekend breaks in Dorset. The menu displayed on the left, provides access to information on leisure activities. For those who like walking holidays, the walks along the Coastal Path are second to none. The Coastal Path is now included as part of the Jurassic Coast which has recently been awarded World Heritage Status, alongside the likes of the Grand Canyon and the Taj Mahal. Numerous walks, guided tours, bus trips and boat trips are available to help you to enjoy the scenery whilst learning about the unique geology of the area and taking part in the fun of fossil hunting. Alternatively, you could just relax on one of the many beaches and simply do nothing.
The Lulworth area has several exceptional beaches, notably Lulworth Cove, St Oswalds Bay, Durdle Door and Mupe Bay. Studland, and the seaside resorts of Swanage and Weymouth are also within easy driving distance. Ferry boat trips are also available, either to Brownsea Island, or along the coastline, on fast water rides or by steam boat. For those who enjoy a more active holiday, you could hire a bike, play a round of Golf, shoot at a few clays and go horse riding. All before breakfast! |
